Seventh Harmonic are an all female ethereal band based in London. Recording and releasing material independantly they are acutely aware of how powerful the web can be as a promotional tool. By focussing on the community aspects of internet music (they run their own mailing list, message boards, link-exchanges with other artists) and by publishing a wealth of materials on their site (songs for download, gig listings and news updates) they have been able to reach a far wider audience than traditional practices would have allowed.

The Aktiv E-Ching was created to demonstrate cross-platform publishing technologies, and to research how these technologies 'cross-pollinate' amongst users. Available on web, WAP, SMS, Palm OS, and AvantGo platforms, it received over 1'000 downloads in the first week of operation.

Although now no longer operational (it's founders have moved on to new pastures) Eris Co were a sussex based promotion and events outfit, organising a variety of alternative musical events (from gigs to club nights to parties) in the Brighton area.
As well as promoting these events the web site was also used as a community portal, using message boards, encouraging users to submit news, information and reviews etc. and offering a a comprehensive set of links to web sites relevant to the alternative community.
